The Obama family has made a lot of history in the last year, and now the First Lady is adding to the already successful reputation of her family.
While Michelle Obama might be famed for her role as America’s First Lady, it seems the wife of the first African American President is making a splash all of her own. This month, the gorgeous mother of two is making history as the cover star of the March issue of Vogue magazine, just the second First Lady to ever be photographed for the cover.

While almost every First Lady has been featured in the magazine beginning with Herbert Hoover's wife, Lou, in 1929, only Hilary Clinton holds the same title to Michelle Obama. Clinton graced the December 1998 cover.

The issue featuring Michelle Obama is on stands now.
