Now I'm not normally one to get super-excited about upcoming movies, but Tina Fey's newbie Date Night promises to be a goodie. Naturally, I thought I would share some deets.
The plotline is simple: couple schedule a regular 'date night', things go wrong, people intrude, hilarity ensues. Could be awful in the wrong hands, but with
Tina Fey and
Steve Carrell playing the leads, the word 'hit' kinda springs to mind. And how's this for a star-studded supporting cast? Gossip Girl's
Leighton Meester and Oscar-nominee
Taraji P. Henson, with
James Franco and
Mark Wahlberg also rumoured to be on-board.
The bad news? We've got to wait 'til 2010. Boo.
