Second-day hair is never fun if you've got hair that just won't behave unless it's freshly-washed. BUT, we've got a plan. And it might involve copying Jessica Biel's casual (but totally done) easy ponytail.
How to get Jess' messy, but done, and totally grown-up ponytail:
If you're working with clean hair, rough it up with a little volumising mousse. If you're hair already has some grit in it, just pop in a touch of dry shampoo to get rid of oily roots.
Now, take small sections (starting from the front) and backcomb using a fine-toothed comb to add volume and texture. Once your done, flip your hair over and spray in some light hold hairspray to add EVEN MORE volume.
To create the ponytail, lightly scrape hair back into place using just your fingers and secure using a hair elastic. To finish, backcomb the hair around the elastic to add height to your pony.
Tip: If you've got long hair and don't want your ponytail swinging round, when securing the elastic in, don't pull your hair all the way through. Leaving the ends tucked in creates a cheat's updo.
