It's so good to see one of the cosmetic giants celebrating beaty that's outside the box, we just had to give this snippet centrestage. Covergirl has signed talkshow host (and all-round funny lady) Ellen DeGeneres, as the its newest face, joining actress Drew Barrymore, model Jennifer Hawkins, and singer Rihanna.
This will be the first beauty campaign for the comedienne and Emmy-award winning talk show host whose famous face will be the focus of new Covergirl advertisements in Australia in 2009.
Proving she's down to earth and still not taking herself too seriously, Ellen quipped on her self-titled TV show in the U.S. this week: “I’m very excited about it. It’s a very cool thing. I’m honoured...and the photo shoot was easy, breezy, beautiful Covergirl.”
